“La Quadratura del cerchio” is a classical problem posed by ancient Greek geometers: how to construct a square with the same area as a circle, using just a compass and a ruler. As a problem that has never been solved, metaphorically it represents the perfect yet impossible solution that Lebole Gioielli has also made its mission: by using both geometrical shapes Lebole Gioielli wants to take part in the wider debate between those who believe the square to be the perfect shape and those who would rather award the circle that same privilege.
That’s why three pairs of asymmetrical lobe earrings put the circle and the square side by side while also setting them apart by designing one lobe in cabochon stone and the other in fabric. A long necklace that uses both geometrical figures adds to the Collection. All the jewels are made in gold plated silver, natural cabochon stones and antique Japanese kimono silk. All pieces are Made in Italy.
